We work on these UNIX servers. Wishful thinking would hope that buying a bunch more computers would lead to VW part price declines...maybe if we could fiddle with the software the Finance group uses....... HP will deliver the N-Class hardware and convergence services for all SAP activities at the customer headquarters organization. This sale is worth $20M through the end of 2000, with further opportunities for a worldwide rollout. The deal was won against IBM and Sun, both of whom are current hardware suppliers for VW.
