The Vanagon Radiator has more than enough capacity for that engine. Being three rows deep and as large as it is, you should no problem at 100 plus. My 87 Syncro survived death Valley at 123 with the AC on. IF anything, an oil cooler should be considered. Particularly if you drive at high speeds for extended periods of time. Does anybody know where I can get a larger capacity radiator or can I have my radiator modified to increase its capacity. Thanks so much for your help.
