I agree, we should quantify the performance as we go so we can have more confidence in our conclusions. If possible, each participant should obtain a thermometer that can be used inside of the fridge. There are some made for this exact purpose. I have one permanently stuck to the inside of mine so I can see how cool things are. It cost about $5 a couple of years ago. I looked for them at the same store last week but no luck. If anyone finds a likely model at a common retail outlet, let everyone know. Mine is a Frig-o-Gage II, scaled from -40 to +120 F. I have another one stuck to the inside of the vanagon, just behind the passengers head. We will want to standardize on the location where our measurements are to be taken but first we need the thermometers.
