Subject: 85 1,6TD - Engine advice needed
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Listees, I need some advice on a 1985 Vanagon 1,6TD. My sisters boyfriend is thinking about buying a Vanagon too (guess I had some influence). Now, I know most of the things I should look for, but I am not too familiar with the TD engine. Any tips on what I should look for in the negine? The van is being sold privately, so there are no shop available to test the car in any way. The car is a 5-seater Kombi, The engine is a factory rebuild with 80.000 km, the asking price is $1600
