Subject: McNeil wind deflectors

I just wanted to post to the group that I've had excellent response from McNeil automotive on the wind deflectors that fell out of my Vanagon.

The are replacing them free of charge - and have told me that the trick is to ignore the directions that come with them and place the deflector between the windowframe and the weather-stripping. After looking at the window, I assume that they just mean the vertical portions of the window.

Has anyone else tried this?
