OK I know I have been bashing VW rebuilt motors all week.  So now the ironic
thing is that I am now setup to sell VW rebuilt motors.  The important
difference here is that these are rebuilt by VW of South Africa (not in
Canada).  They have new AMC (Spanish) heads with all the rest of the rebuild
parts being factory VW parts.  I believe they come with new waterpumps and
the 1.9ls come with new thermostats.  The price is $2450 ($1000 less than the
Canadian rebuilds available through dealers here!)  They come with a 12
month/12,000 mile warranty.  This price includes shipping the motor to you.
Core is $600 and you have to pay the return shipping.
