If you want "the best" and have the money for it (around $600) the Paulchen is the way to go. I am getting ready to order a set from Steve at Eurocampers.com when he gets his next shipment in a couple of weeks. He has the better "First Class" style bike carriers and the original style rack. A cheaper aluminum alternative, with a Yakima-like trough carrier is available from Steve as well (Trotter rack), or a similar, cheaper version of the Paulchen can be found in Canada from Owasco.

Steve's Euro Camper site for the "good" Paulchen rack (about $600 US): http://www.eurocampers.com/page14a.html

The Owasco site for the "cheaper" Paulchen racks (about $450 US) http://www.owasco-canada.com/paulchen.htm

Better pictures of the rack at: http://www.vanagon.com/info/vehicles/beethoven/paulchen.html
