Subject: Will a Jetta fuel pump work on a westy?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Here's the story, The Fuel pump has died in my '81 Westy. I happen to have a scrapped '86 Jetta sitting along side. will that pump fit my camper? I don't expect a perfect match, but will it work? Would the volume be the same? Electric fuel pumps are dear, as you know, and there are very few scrapped Vanagons on this island; none in my neck of the woods.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers,

Bob Norman '81 Westy Gander, Newfoundland Canada
