>Where does Bosch fit in on the quality >curve? May 18, 1999 We're talking about item #72150. Well on my last oil change I used a Bosch. I was in Zion park in April- a little cold not too bad. Started my engine and for the first time ever (12 years) I saw the oil light come on and the buzzer sounded. Needless to say I was concerned. Stopped the engine, started up again, same thing happened. Eventually on idle the buzzer went off (after about 30 seconds) and everything back to normal. Happened about 4x with that filter in. For what it's worth, this has never happened to me with a Mann, Mahle or VW filter. Go figure. But I won't use another Bosch oil filter.
