seriously, tho - the reason your headlight switch is heating up, it is going bad. i had the same thing happen on my '84, and the lights wouldnt turn off because the switched "siezed" because it got too hot. replaced it, and it hasnt happened since. (which makes me think it was just in the switch) common probelem on vanagons. chris |
