Not on mine .. also I think the transporter has a pretty sufisticated "Recycling"system to condense vaporised petrol. I once had a peugeot 504 where this system failed and the air going in was like a tornado. I replaced the cap with one of those cheapy plastic ones you buy at the petrol station and it ran fine. Sladek (Green garage in Kilburn) my VW guru thinks I was dreaming. He has the bus today and is looking into it ...
