This is definately a weak link in the fuel system. I have had two of these fail over the years. One, the end with out the plastic plug cracked on start up. The other was weaping gas at the round plug. I wonder if a any after market people make something we could use to replace this problem. I would not be suprized if this is what causes most of the fires.
