Subject: Removing ECU Difficulties
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi Volks:

Can anybody help me out with this?

What is the easiest way to remove the ecu in an 84 Westy?

I tried to remove mine by first removing the harness, and then removing the screws that attach the mounting assembly, but the A/C hose basically prevents access to one of the bolts.

There are screws that surround the ecu, that attach it to the mount, however, it does appear that in order to access these screws, I need to remove the taillight and gain access through the hole.

Is that correct, or is there a better way?
