May 18, 1999 Bruno, I started mine up - never had any problems in the last 12 years. Cleaned out the combustion chamber twice in that time. Always used the flue cover when not in use. Anyway, started it up yesterday- after warming it up with 120v for about 3 hrs. then switching over to propane. Mine reads 35.1 F. Consistently Ciao, Paolo
