Volkswagen Fans,

Our club, the Central Illinois Volkswagen Association (CILVA), is teaming up
with The Real Source, the VW parts and accessories distributor, to host
BugFest '99.  BugFest '99 will take place in Effingham, Illinois on Saturday,
May 22, starting at 9:00 AM.

CILVA is a small, but progressive VW club with members from the Peoria -
Bloomington area of Illinois.  We are affiliated with the VVWCA.  We have
hosted two annual VW shows and are looking forward to working with The Real
Source on BugFest '99.  We see this as a great opportunity to bring a large,
quality VW show to the Midwest.

The Real Source has been in the automobile parts and accessories business for
many years, specializing until recently on the Corvette market and using the
name Mid America.  In 1998, they ventured into the VW realm with a line of
parts and accessories for the classic VWs.  The name of the VW branch of the
company became The Real Source.  With the introduction of the New Beetle,
their line was expanded to include items for it as well. They are interested
in making BugFest an annual event to compliment their highly successful
Corvette show.  Look for their ads in the VW magazines.

Details of the show are still being worked out.  If you received this e-mail
