I agree with your points. On my last westy the faucet was broken so I attached about 12 inches of clear plastic very flexible hose (about the same size as the hose under the faucet cover) and I came to really like it. As it could reach in every direction and reach over the drain board and I could pinch the hose to cut the flow a bit.

I am also considering drilling a hole right through the faucet knob (horizontally) and putting a pin through there so that it will stick out about 1/4 inch on both sides and glue (or shoe goo) it in place.

Let me know if you do this or another mod. Malcolm
