I came across the website www.shockwarehouse.com earlier this week, and asked for a quote on prices, and an alternative to the KYB shocks since there was talk by a listmember that (s)he felt the KYB's were too stiff for the Vanagon. Has anyone tried the Monroe shocks?

Here's the text from shockwarehouse.com

Tom,

Monroe makes Gasmagnums for the vanagons. Front and rears are $ 25.22 each.

BOGE shows the only for the synchro model, and I think bilsteins may be just as stiff, if not stiffer than the KYBs.
