Subject: Intake Manifold? Woes
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I beleive that the part is called the intake manifold. On the passenger side of the ending there are two tubes (about 1.5 inch od) running side by side, they end in two cloth braided hoses (very short) that connect to the engine. They tubes have a bend in them and each has a stud or bolt sticking out the top of the tube near the end.

One of the studs has broken off, leaving a hole, on my '84 Westy, and the local dealer want $500 for a new one. Does anybody know where I can get a good used one or a much cheaper new one?

thanks

Gregor
