Hello ...

I really thought that frankenstein (my 86 Transporter) had thrown everything possible at me. This afternoon I started it up to move it across the yard. It got about 20 yards then stoped dead and refused to restart. Total nothing. Spark, but for some reason no fuel coming out of the pump. I took a syringe and manually primed the carb reconnected the fuel line and it restarted. I reved it up (confidently expecting it to die) it was fine. Idled perfectly ... wierd. It had been standing for two days before this incident.

Question is .. should I replace the fuel pump ?

Justin
