> Shortlidge D Joel <shortlid@JUNO.COM> > Some one on the list was talking about how to fix the "lights on" chime. > So, how did you do it, how long did it take and $ involved. If you want an annoying noise to sound when you open a door when the headlights are on and the ignition key is turned off, I can tell you how. It is quite easy and costs less than US$5.00 for parts at Radio Shack (or your FLEPS). I can't tell you exactly how right now because I don't have my vanagon handy, all you have to do is run a wire between the headlight relay and the ground for the fog light relay with a buzzer in it. If this is what you want let me know and I will write up more detailed instructons for an '86 - I don't know about any other year. > > Joel John-Reed Maffeo Mesa, Az |
