To put your 1.9l together having the following VW service manual will be helpful: Part nr: W42 012 194 103, "1.9l TD General Engine Manual" If you're having difficulty getting it (it's out of print, but many dealers have them laying around) or if they attempt to charge a ridiculous amount for it let me know and I can help you get one. I also have the fuel injection manual for my 1.9l but since you are going with the 1.6l components I doubt you need that.
