I'm replacing my gas tank which rusted out on the top with another tank. This one is in real good shape but there is a little rust around the outer seams in a few places and some by the sender. As I started sanding around the sender, I found more and more rust. The rubbery undercoating is a bear to sand off, so I wondered whether there is an easier way to remove this stuff. I'd just as soon do this job only once and really want to get all the rust off then reprimer and paint the tank. I may also coat the inside of the tank. Any suggestions? _____________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Free instant messaging and more at http://messenger.yahoo.com |
