I got them from T-Hoff in Raleigh NC. The plug is made for a Golf but is the same plug type for Wasserboxers. I do not know the number but it is in the archives. Call 919-833-8671 ans ask for Charlie and tell him Robert sent you (He is out on Tuesdays). I paid @$4.35 a plug

No, the four prong plugs are designed after racing plugs. The electrodes stick up and leave the center uncovered. There are four paths for current to flow, less likely to not fire.

I have had them in my new engine for @8000 miles and it starts up immediately. I am getting @24 to 26 mpg with my new engine @65.

Compared to the three prong plug, the length the prongs go into the head is less.
