OK - I am in the middle of my "Stuff the two U1 gel cell batteries under the driver's seat" project, and I have a question: Even with the aux battery relay removed and all the wires disconnected, the cabin light still lights. One of my primary reasons for auxiliary batteries was to run the light(s) without fear of running down my primary battery. What circuit does the cabin light run from and how can I run it directly from the auxiliary batteries instead?? BTW, yes, I did manage to stuff the two batteries under the seat. The fit is tight, and it took some hammering, bending, and a bit of trimming, but now I have 66 amp hours under the seat using the factory wiring harness, at a cost of about $120! I will report the full procedure and details when I am finished Brent Christensen Rock Systems, Inc. 805-966-3734 http://www.rock-systems.com |
