Subject:      Just in! - Wrecked Passat 1.9L TD

The Volkswagen dealer here just got a 1995 Passat TD (not TDI) in.  The
back of the car slid into a deep creek and there is some roll over damage.
The engine runs fine.  They are going to do some tests with it to make sure
it runs great.  They are going to be asking about $2700 CAD for the
*complete* engine if it runs to their satisfaction.  Is there anyone who is
interested?  I'd hate to see it go to one of the Vancouver wreckers and not
a list member!
