Everytime I have fiddled with the glass in the sliding windows I have had to
remove the entire unit from the door / frame.  A pain in the rear end,
believe you me.  But as with everything practice makes perfect.   If the
glass can be removed without pulling the entire frame out of the van I would
sure like to know.
