On the advice of a couple of fellow listmembers I purchased a Sherpak 7 drybag/car top carrier made by Seattle Sports. It is made of a very heavy duty vinyl type material and is extremely rugged and well constructed. The dimensions match the Westy luggage rack perfectly. We used it on our April trip to Cape Cod and were very pleased. Holds a ton of stuff and everything stayed dry. Highly recommended.

However it is out of production and is hard to find. I found mine through a web search and got the last one from the particular vendor I ordered from. Seattle Sports customer service was also very helpful via email and suggested Oshmann's Sporting Goods should have some in stock (as of January, 1999).

Have a great trip,

Tony
