Karl and LIstees: I've used the orange Prestone(only a $1/gal more than the green stuff). No catch to my knowledge. used it for 2 yr. Have had enough hoses blow/radiator cleaning/new waterpump et al over that two years that the coolant stays pretty fresh. Still think I'd change it once a year. Fnally got all the seepage undser control now.

So how many of y'all use the orange extended life, e.g. Texaco DexCool, stuff? Ethylene glycol based, no phosphates or silicates. Sounds good, esp. @$6.99/gal vs $15 for Autobahn. Is there a catch?
