Mark,

There is no adjustment, the hydraulic clutch on Vanagons is self-adjusting. Possibilities for your problem: Still air in the system (try pressure or suction bleeding, bad T/O bearing, worn fork or clutch pedal bearing points, or even a bad master or slave--sometimes fluid can go right past the cups in the master if they are badly worn and not leak out.
