Subject: Help! Eurobago needs alternator belt

As I'm walking out of Wally World, I spy the first Eurobago (Rialta-type) I've ever seen. I cruise over in my vanagon which has developed the oddest ticking noise. I think it is a sticky lifter but someone else thought...

Anyway, the old guy driving the Eurobago (5cyl version) is kind enough to show around the thing. He says he's stranded because his alternator/power steering/power brake belt broke. Went to FLAPs but they said nothing in stock. Tomorrow he will go to our sorry VW dealership who will tell him, I'm sure, "we'll be glad to order it on Monday and it will be in on Thursday" 'coz that's what they always tell me.

We have Advances, Autozones, and NAPA in town. Anybody know of the stock number for the right part? There is also an Audi dealership up the road that actually stocks some parts, so I might send him up the road if the part of one of the Audi's is the same. Anybody know?
