Those of you that have put car alarms in your Westies--What have you used? The local shops seem to favor CodeAlarms, and we've got one in my wifes Outback- she's happy with it. Now we want to put one in the Westfalia, and are wondering: Is the Code Alarm adequate? How did you alarm your rear hatch? How did you wire the rear hatch to the "brains" of the unit? How did you alarm the sliding door? Did you set it up to open the locks automatically, or just to turn on and off the alarm? and, if it opens the locks, how did you wire this?
