Ours ices up, but that's fairly normal for a NON-frost free refrigerator. That's what that little drip tray is for under the coils, to catch the drippings when that all melts. ;^) Now you know.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the icing up problem on the coils. Seems to start after 2 days of use (on propane) regardless of ambient weather conditions. It gets worse from there, and a major defrosting (and/or chipping away of the buildup) is required after 3-4 days.

Also wondering if propane consumption is the same (since the flame is always on), regardless of the ambient temperatures or thermostat setting. - Steven Heller Toronto, Canada
