Yeah, you are right. We use Nortons Ghost to image the partition to another hard drive first (usually after booting with a DOS6.2 disk) then use a utility like PQ Magic to make it FAT32. NT3 will not work with FAT16 as far as I know. NT4 needs a third party utility to read FAT32 (cant recall what it is a the moment).

Also NT4 does not support USB (someone asked me this). A third party has developed an add-on hub (4 and 7 port) that will work with NT but it is not slated for market until September at $199 and $399 respectively (manufacture suggested retail price).

David (really just a newbie to NT and VW) 83.5 Vanagon GL (and glad the ECU doesn't us NT and .... well you get the picture)
