I was taught that when bleeding brakes this way, it is more efficient to open the nipple 1/8 to 1/4 turn, have an assistant push the pedal to the floor, close the nipple, the assistant raises the pedal, open the nipple,... When fluid is clear and no more bubbles, that wheel is done. -Dana-
