Subject: 12v upgrades product source

For those of you grappling with upgrading your electrical systems, there is a company that is somewhat famous in the off-road world for their heavy duty components. Their specialty is high amp charging systems. Their web address is http://www.wranglernw.com/

They also sell a book for $19.95 that is all about 12 volt systems. I just ordered it, so I will report back on my impressions.

BTW - I am still grappling with the "two-U1-batteries-in-parallel" question (it was suggested by a respected list member that it would be unwise due to possible voltage differential-induced surges of high current). According to the folks at Wrangler, it is no problem. (Well, now I have a second opinion...)

I will be hooking everything up this week in time for the weekend and will report back on the results after the weekend. I have yet to decide what to do about the parallel hook-up question...
