I did this over the last 3 months, 3 times. Make sure your rebuild is a good one. If you have an axle lock you must remove the 1/2 shaft. You can get to the upper bolt from the engine compartment. the problem comes in attaching the battery cable. There are 2 different lengths of starters. They very by only 1/4" make sure you get the right one.
