I just finished swapping out a complete rear facing seat interior into my regular seating interior on my 87 syncro. It took a long 3 nights to complete the job. It is very important that you take EVERYTHING out of the other van. All side paneling, table brackets under the side window, carpeting, sound insulation, spacers that stick out on the rear bench bolts, pay close attention to the rear seatback upper pins, they sit 1 inch back and 1 cm down. You'll see where they go with the side panels installed and then looking at the holes for the pins that go through the side panel. The donor pin bracket that is spot welded is what you will use. Drill the spot welds out, bend the brackets in the shape of the brackets on the van you are taking the parts out of. The pins will need to stick out about 1 inch OUT further than before. Pay attention to how everything gets removed from the van you are taking the parts out of, especially the rear seat setup. Do it yourself, you will need everything form the front seats back. You will love the van after you are done, I love my very rare sycnro Multivan 16", worth 3k more now. See ya, Michael. 87 quattro 87 syncro. >>
