Thanks for all the helpful hints on what to do. I'm gonna check at the dealer today for a new speedo cable and dust cap. I'm sure I did this before and was astounded by the amount and have since forgotten it. Probably $$$ mind block ! I'll report back here tomorrow with prices I was quoated on these parts. I do not believe the speedo cable is available anywhere but through the dealer........prove me wrong on this one and I'll be a REALLY HAPPY CAMPER ! I think the idea of epoxing on a piece of square stock to make the end bigger again makes the most sense to me. Although brazing the end and filing could work also and then there's JB WELD ? Maybe that would hold up ? Mathew is right though, for $35 I'd be better off spending time with my family.....right on ! BUT, somehow me thinks it's much more than 35 bucks. Tomorrow.....

Cheers

Frank
