I have 16" rims on my Syncro with 225/60 tires installed for an overall tire size of 27". They run fine with no problems. They do steal engine power when accelerating and it takes a little more braking effort. I have noticed no difference in clutch wear.

If you are interested in some taller tires try the BF Goodrich All-Terrains in 27x8.5"
