I'm still a newbie. Bought an 89 Westy in Fall 98. Put new Michelin MXLs on it and now its going into the shop for KYB shocks, a rear anti-sway bar, new fuel lines, syn thetic oil and tranny lube, non-phosphate flush and fill for the cooling system, new belts, recharged AC, yada, yada....... Reading a recent post about using tire jack for leveling Westy. Suddenly thought, "huh, wonder where the jack is?" Went to manual. It said, "If front seat swivels, then jack is under rear folding seat." Went to rear seat.....no jack, no nada. OK, so where is this thing and did my PO line the walls of his garage with former parts from my Westy? Anybody got an iron and jack for sale? Jim in Iowa 91 Passat Wagon GL 89 Westy 66 Beetle
