Ken, We just went over this "very briefly" in class...TOYOTA DEALERSHIP PROGRAM at Merced College in Merced, Ca. [If I understood it right, and I think I did :0) ] Stainless Steel mufflers have a longer wear life (won't corrode as easily from condensation and heat fluctuations) And manufactures are going that way as well... With that said it's fair to say the XX-cost is worth it...
