If the motor and heads are good, I would think $ 4,000 to $ 7,000, depending upon location (CA prices are usually higher). You didn't indicate if it has a/c. If so, that is a bonus. As far as the automatic, many consider this to be preferable, since the Vanagon automatic has a good repair record.
