Subject: 93 Eurovan Automatic Transmission?

I test drove a 93 before buying an 83 and found it shifted poorly. It was an automatic. I purchased an 83 automatic instead. I decided on the 83 after calling around and finding out a transmission job is $4,000.00 on the 93s.
