Subject: Re: upper bunk entry

Jim, I was going to investigate the West Marine store nearby because a while ago I noticed they have some interesting aluminum collapsing ladders. Check a boat store near you. Our 9 year old steps first on the platform that the drivers seat is on, then on the edge of the closed stove top (better reinforcement), then hoists herself on the bunk. I am afraid lazyness will eventually find her stepping on the top of the stove though so I have the same concern.
