I had to replace the cooling fan, which meant I had to yank the thing. It came out okay (with help from the list telling me how to do it). Along the way I had to replace the inlet pipe for the propane (my local Ace Hardware made it for me right on the spot!) At that point I hadn't read about cleaning out the combustion chamber (this was to appear a few days AFTER I had the fridge back in place!) Yesterday I blew it out with a compressor (shooting down into the exhaust pipes, and up into the drain). I fired it up and it did fine, I could feel heat coming out of the flue, hear the flame churning away, the needle pegged all the way to the right in the green. I drove a few miles (5) and the flame had gone out.

And the answer is: (?) [awaiting the clattering of keys by the pros here!] I know, I know, it's probably back in the archive somewhere. Oh yeah, Is there going to be a compliation of the many tips and hints about Dometic fridges??
