AFAIK Audi still uses 5x 112mm bolt patterns. I have no idea what the offsets of these wheels are. More than likely the are ET40+mm which would be too much for the Vanagon.

Thinking about all this, perhaps they are NOT 5x 112mm - I was eyeing up the 5 spoke 16" New Beetle wheels and they are 5x 100mm bolt pattern. The NB is supposed to be based on the Audi A3 platform as well the Golf 4 and Jetta 4. The VW dealership here lost their Audi dealership as they sold less than 10 Audis a year so I have no friendly techs who whould be able to answer this.
