When my '77 Westy was practially demolished by thieves, Nationwide tried to pay me the miniscule NADA value. I presented them with KBB and other "classic car" book values, along with an estimate from my local mechanic of the value of the bus prior to the damage. I kept asking for management until I reached someone with common sense, and eventually they upped their payment by about $1500. It's worth the effort, or so I found in my case. Then again, perhaps I was lucky to finally reach a claims adjustment manager who was friendly and helpful. - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. http://www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW |
