Andrew, the warning light has no connection to the O2 sensor, it comes on every x thousand miles regardless. To reset it, look under the left front wheel for a squarish box with speedometer cable passing through it. Find a raised nipple on the box and depress the center until it clicks. That will turn off the light for another x thousand miles.
