Hi,

Thanks to all that have responded so far.  First, let me apologize for not
specifying that the KYB shocks I ordered are for the REAR.  Major blunder
on my part.

But...Im still having trouble fitting these shocks to my van.  The sleeves
on the KYBs are about 1/8 inch longer than the sleeves on the 'old' shocks.
I just cant seem to get them to fit.   I guess I could hack off 1/8inch of
the new sleeves, but would rather not.  I have confirmed that the part
number on the KYBs are the same as those that are supposed to fit 87 syncro
vanagons....  I can tell that the fittings for my shocks are stock..havent
been modified.  Has anyone out there ordered KYBs for their syncros?  Did
you have size issues?  Will hacking off some sleeve cause me problems down
the road?
