Subject: Syncro Front Coil Springs List Purchase

There appears to be enough interest in the custom syncro springs to bring the cost down to the $70 per spring range...less than a new shock and about 1/5 of what VW charges. I believe there is a total of seven people who are interested.

Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to order them for about 3-4 weeks. The production time is estimated by the company to be 8 weeks, but we may be able to speed this up. Still, we're looking at up to 12 weeks from now for delivery.

Please p-mail me and let me know the following:

(1) Does the delay present a problem?

(2) Will you be satisified with springs approx. 10% stiffer that will raise vehicle (syncro westy) height approximately 1/4" - 3/4" (final height still to be decided...goal is to obtain vehicle sag the syncro suspension was designed to have stock to allow full use of suspension travel without pre-mature topping out). This is not a lift kit.

(3) Do you have a particular preference re vehicle height or % of increased stiffness?

Machine set up time is the big cost on the springs. If we can afree on one setup, the cost will be less. If we can't, we may have enough people for two separate orders for two different springs and still get good prices. steve
